ESPN announced its new coverage strategy for Sunday night baseball. They reached a multi-year agreement with five-time world champion and former Cy Young winner David Cone. Kon will team up with Karl Ravish, who will become the fourth player ever Sunday night baseball Playing the sound game, as well as Eduardo Perez, to form the new Sunday night baseball broadcast booth. The deals for Ravech and Perez are part of Tong’s extension of his contract with the network. ESPN has also confirmed that Alex Rodriguez and Michael Kay will be hosting a special presentation for their Sunday Night Baseball game on ESPN2: Sunday Night Baseball With Kay Rod.
